Choose Your News Sources Wisely
Luckily someone else also shot video, so that the lies can be exposed. Glenn Beck has recommended that people attending a town hall or rally event take video so that the true stories can be available.

Have you been to a Tea Party yet???
If you haven't yet attended a Tea Party, a Town Hall gathering, or Rally of some sort, I challenge you to do so.
Back in November a few friends and I gathered together and organized a Rally at the State Capitol Building. We called for answers about the bailout spending that was being proposed (it passed, $700 Billion was spent, was determined that it wasn't effective so we threw another $Trillion+ at it). We had more people from the media there than we had rally-goers.
Things have changed, however. People all across America are awakening and seeing that they are being sold promises that will enslave them. No one is saying, "I don't want everyone to be covered with health care." We are saying, "I want to be responsible for my own health care so that I can choose the health care I want."
America was founded with LIBERTY at the forefront of the minds of its architects. They had just fought a horrific war and invested their hearts, minds, and souls in the creation of a document that would preserve the LIBERTY which they paid so dearly to gain.
The Constitution of the United States of America created checks and balances of power, limited the role of government to prohibit invasive government, declared specific rights to have been endowed by God and thereby not to be intruded upon by the government, and contains many other LIBERTY preserving principles.
This self-same document is under siege. Look around you. Listen to your heart. Search your soul. I invite you to do something about what you find present in your heart. Here are some upcoming options. (Scroll over the events below to find the hyperlinked words)
There is a Town Hall Meeting organized for (Sat) August 22 at St. Marks Cathedral (SLC), in their Meeting Hall at 5:00 PM.
There is also a Common Sense Rally in Provo that day 6:30-8:30 PM at the Utah County Courthouse.
On (Sat) September 12 there is a Liberty Rally organized at the Utah State Capitol Building at 4:00 PM.
These are occurring everywhere across out Nation. Check out this inspiring Rally in Dallas Texas where a regular mom who cares shares her love of LIBERTY.

The Best News I've Had In Months - House Joint Memorial 4 in Idaho
Some exciting news for fans of Freedom and Liberty! The Idaho Legislature has taken a bold stand. They are entertaining a piece of legislature to challenge the overstepping of bounds by the Federal Government. I'm proud of these people formally standing up to the abuses of a system which is nearing the tyranny pressed upon the colonialists who formed our nation!
I have called the Idaho legislature sponsors and leadership to thank them for entertaining such a measure. I hope that it passes and progresses on the be delivered officially to the US Congress, US Senate, and the US President.
Here is a link (for those who research and want verification of authenticity):

Here is the text (for your convenience):
TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNITED STATES IN CONGRESS ASSEMBLED, AND THE CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION REPRESENTING THE STATE OF IDAHO IN THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES.
We, your Memorialists, the House of Representatives and the Senate of the State of Idaho assembled in the First Regular Session of the Sixtieth Idaho Legislature, do hereby respectfully represent that:
WHEREAS, Section 2, Article I, of the Constitution of the State of Idaho, sets forth the Declaration of Rights and reads as follows: "All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for their equal protection and benefit, and they have the right to alter, reform or abolish the same whenever they may deem it necessary; and no special privileges or immunities shall ever be granted that may not be altered, revoked, or repealed by the legislature."; and
WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States reads as follows: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”; and WHEREAS, the Tenth Amendment defines the total scope of federal power as being that specifically granted by the Constitution of the United States and no more; and
WHEREAS, the scope of power defined by the Tenth Amendment means that the federal government was created by the states specifically to be an agent of the states; and
WHEREAS, today, in 2009, the states are demonstrably treated as agents of the federal government; and
WHEREAS, many federal mandates are directly in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; and
WHEREAS, the United States Supreme Court has ruled in New York v. United States, 505 U.S. 144 (1992), that Congress may not simply commandeer the legislative and regulatory processes of the states; and
WHEREAS, Congress has inappropriately delegated its monetary authority to the private federal reserve bank, thus failing to protect and provide a sound monetary system as defined and mandated by the Constitution of the United States, forcing an unstable currency on us resulting in the past, and the current, economic perils; and
WHEREAS, a number of proposals from past and present Administrations and Congress may violate the Constitution of the United States.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the First Regular Session of the Sixtieth Idaho Legislature, the House of Representatives and the Senate concurring therein, that the state of Idaho hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this serves as notice and demand to the federal government, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions, or requires states to pass legislation or lose federal funding, be prohibited.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives be, and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Memorial to the President of the United States, the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Congress, and the congressional delegation representing the State of Idaho in the Congress of the United States.

Merry Christmas to All!
The reason for this season, the most important of all of our activities during this holiday is to remember that Christ is our Lord and Savior. He came to earth to save us. He loves us and seeks to bless our lives. I love Christ and am so grateful that He cared so deeply about you and about me that He chose to give His life and then take it up again. Jesus was born, He lived ... He truly lived, He died, and He lives again.
Please enjoy the following video if you have not seen it. If you have enjoy it again. It contains depictions of Christ's birth and life and testimonies like my own which I have shared above.

Our Nation's Historical Story Is Under Attack
I called Senator DeMint's Washington DC office this afternoon to thank him for fighting this fight and ask what I could do. His staff said that calling our Representatives and Senators and insisting that this defacing of our historic religious beginnings not be tolerated.
